Biography
Actor Vincent Berry never quite broke through as a star-level talent, but along his Hollywood journey, he's managed to appear in an eclectic group of film and TV projects, working with some household names along the way. Berry's first film role, in 1994, came as an unnamed member of the "Rascal" clan in Penelope Spheeris' "The Little Rascals," a big-screen remake of the classic "Our Gang" franchise. Quality screen time was hard to come by for the budding actor, who built his resume with forgettable roles in largely ignored projects like the 1996 horror effort "Sleepstalker." But Berry was persistent, eventually landing a more prominent part in the 1997 thriller "Amnesia." While the film itself was poorly received, Berry did make a crucial professional connection, hitting it off marvelously with co-star Ally Sheedy. The veteran actress appreciated the youngster's skills, and partially as a result, the duo would team up on two further occasions: the 1998 paranormal TV drama "The Fury Within" and the 1999 rock star comedy "Sugar Town." But Berry's most prominent role in the decade came on the family-friendly big-budget sequel "Free Willy 3: The Rescue," in which he played Max Wesley, a crucial supporting character. Following that major national exposure, Berry moved on to a number of one-off spots on successful TV shows, including "E.R." and "Malcolm in the Middle." In 2006, he appeared with a minor role in the Martin Lawrence-starring comedy sequel "Big Momma's House 2."
