The trailer for Terminator: Genisys is now online, which offers our first full glimpse at the reboot that promises to go back in time and change all the rules.
Directed by Alan Taylor (Thor: The Dark World), Terminator Genisys journeys into some kind of alternate timeline where Sarah Connor (Emilia Clarke) has been raised as a child by a T-800 she calls Pops (Arnold Schwarzenegger), and while it may be a different version than what we first saw in James Cameron's Terminator, it still features the usual apocalypse-fighting suspects of Kyle Reese (Jai Courtney) and John Connor (Jason Clarke). And as you can see in the below trailer, it also features a lot of dialogue and location hallmarks of the franchise, but often coming from unlikely places.
