Star Wars: Reportedly, Rooney Mara (Side Effects, above right) and Tatiana Maslany (TV's Orphan Black, above left) are among a handful of actresses testing for the lead role in the first Star Wars stand-alone movie to be directed by Gareth Edwards. Fables: Jane Goldman (Kick-Ass, Kingsman: The Secret Service) is writing a new draft of a screenplay for a proposed movie version of Fables, a long-running comic book series about fairy-tale characters living in secret in New York City. Extraction: The always busy Bruce Willis has lined up a starring role in another action movie. Set to begin filming next month, Extraction revolves around a former CIA operative who is kidnapped by terrorists and must be rescued by his son, a current CIA operative. Steven C. Everly Trailer: A new trailer for Everly is packed with explosive action. The film generated great buzz when it debuted at Fantastic Fest last fall; Salma Hayek stars as "a mobster's ex-girlfriend/sex slave who must shoot, punch, kick, scratch and crawl her through an avalanche of bad guys in order to survive once it's discovered she's slipping information to a police detective."
