When it comes to holiday decor, incorporating your favorite movie makes the atmosphere even more festive. If you’re a fan of Frozen, you don’t have to call on a magic troll to make Elsa and Anna Christmas stockings. All you need is felt, a glue gun and a few decorative elements.

Elsa’s stocking is reminiscent of her Snow Queen gown, icy blue with a wintery faux-fur cuff, beautifully detailed with shimmering ice-crystal rhinestones. The Anna stocking is inspired by her winter dress, a traditional Norwegian outfit called a "Bunad," with dark colors, embossing, floral details and Anna’s signature magenta shawl. Both stockings reflect Anna and Elsa’s signature style but are easy crafts to make with no sewing necessary. Two beautiful holiday stockings fit for the princesses of Arendelle!

You’ll need:

Glue gun

Scissors

Ribbon

Elsa Christmas Stocking

Supplies:

2 pieces (9x12) ice blue felt

1 (9x12) piece of faux fur

1 sheet rhinestone scroll stickers

White glitter glue

To make the Elsa stocking, place the two pieces of baby blue felt on top of each other, trace and cut out a stocking shape.

Separate the pieces and on the bottom piece, use a glue gun to apply hot glue along the edges of the stocking, making sure to leave the top portion open.

Place the second stocking piece on top to secure. Do this in portions as hot glue dries quickly.

Cut a four-inch strip of the faux fur to the size of the top of the stocking. Secure into place with hot glue along the front of the stocking.

Place the rhinestone scroll stickers in a decorative pattern on the front of the stocking.

Add small snow flurries with white glitter glue.

Once the glitter glue is dry, hot glue a small piece of ribbon on the inside corner of the stocking.

Anna Christmas Stocking

Supplies:

2 pieces (9x12) royal blue felt

1 piece (9x12) magenta felt

1 piece (9x12) black embossed felt

Blue glitter glue

Magenta glitter glue

To make the Anna stocking, place the two pieces of royal blue felt on top of each other, trace and cut out a stocking shape.

Separate the pieces and on the bottom piece, use a glue gun to apply hot glue along the edges of the stocking, making sure to leave the top portion open.

Place the second stocking piece on top to secure. Do this in portions as hot glue dries quickly.

Cut a four-inch strip of the black embossed felt to the size of the top of the stocking. Fold in half, then into quarters and on one end, trim the corners to round the edges. Once the piece is unfolded you’ll have a scallop edge. Secure the black embossed felt into place with hot glue along the front of the stocking with the scallop edge facing down.

Cut a two-inch strip of the magenta felt to the size of the top of the stocking. Fold in half, then into quarters and on one end, trim the corners to round the edges. Secure the magenta felt into place with hot glue along the front of the stocking over the black felt, with the scallop edge facing down.

Using blue and magenta glitter glue, add flowers to the bottom of the stocking, similar to the details on Anna’s dress.

Once the glitter glue is dry, hot glue a small piece of ribbon on the inside corner of the stocking.
