In case you weren't convinced that Ben Affleck does indeed have plans to play Batman in his own solo movie, today it was confirmed the actor went so far as to write his own script for said movie, according to a story in The Hollywood Reporter.

Recently Affleck went on record saying he was working on something with DC's Geoff Johns, with many speculating the duo were hashing out the particulars of a solo Batman film that Affleck would direct himself following his work on the two-part Justice League movie.

Now THR seems to confirm as much, with news coming from Affleck's reps that he's officially contracted to star in both Justice League movies, and that there's a script "he's written that is a really cool [Batman] idea," adding it's an "option" -- meaning it doesn't seem like a definite at this point.

While reviews of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice were certainly divisive, many commended Affleck on his performance with some even calling him the best big-screen Batman yet. But will Affleck still want to play the Caped Crusader after portraying him in Batman v Superman, both Justice League movies and for a bit part in this August's Suicide Squad?

No other actor has played Batman in more than three live-action movies, and Affleck's already lined up four. Will fan demand convince him to do a fifth?

What do you think?
