Famous film director Franco Elica (Sergio Castellitto) tries to keep a low profile while in Sicily to avoid his daughter's impending wedding. While there he meets the bankrupt prince of Gravina (Sami Frey) and is invited to his daughter Bona's (Donatella Finocchiaro) wedding.
