The film traces the journey of a boy who was saved by an Indian Police Officer at the time of partition. It is inspired by true events and depicts the time when humanity was divided into segments by religion, people were separated from their loved ones and killed ruthlessly. Among all this chaos and brutality an infant was saved and taken care of by a Sikh couple. The couple soon develops an eternal bond with the child and never reveals that he is not their biological son. As time flies the boy gets to know the reality and embarks on a journey to Pakistan in search of his biological parents. The film brings forth the element of hope, longing, never ending quest and the yearning that one goes through, when in search of something irreplaceable and divine.
