The internment of Japanese-Americans during World War II was a sorry time in U.S. history, and took an especially painful toll on families living in those camps. According to this documentary, the internment resulted in tension and strife, especially between second-generation Japanese-Americans who favored absolute support for the government -- which meant no questioning how they were treated -- and their elders. The film explores how the fragmentation born in those camps resonates to this day.
