What is Pataakha about?

Pataakha (Firecracker) is a story about two sisters, Badki and Chhutki, growing up in a small village in Rajasthan. The siblings’ constant war with each other has haunted their lives, from learning to walk to searching for husbands. When they meet their soulmates, they are relieved to know that they will ?nally be free of each other. But as fate would have it, it seems they can’t live with or without each other. The ?lm is based on a short story by renowned writer Charan Singh Pathik. It is being directed by Vishal Bhardwaj and produced by Vishal Bhardwaj Films LLP and Kyta Productions.
