10 Young Actors on the Verge of Superstardom

‘Paper Towns’ promises to turn its stars, Cara Delevingne and Nat Wolff, into household names. A lot of other great young actors have gotten their big breaks in the last year. Here are 10 we think you’ll be seeing a lot more of.

The Swedish beauty might be 2015’s biggest breakout star, thanks to her amazing work as an artificially intelligent robot in ‘Ex Machina.’ She soon appears in ‘The Man from U.N.C.L.E.’ and the Bradley Cooper comedy ‘Adam Jones.’

We could list either of Mann’s costars in the Sundance award-winner ‘Me and Earl and the Dying Girl’ – that would be Olivia Cooke and Ronald Cyler II – but Mann’s got the edge, with a solid resume and at least eight new movies lined up.

In 2013, he was “Kid #2” on an Internet show. In 2014, he anchored ‘The Grand Budapest Hotel.’ What a difference a year makes! The 19-year-old ‘Dope’ costar now has a wide-ranging slate of films due in the next year.

As the leading lady in this year’s ‘The Longest Ride’ and ‘Tomorrowland,’ Robertson has already arrived. But we see even bigger things in her future. Up next: ‘Cook,’ where she plays opposite Eddie Murphy in a change-of-pace role.

Robertson’s ‘Longest Ride’ partner has escaped the shadow of famous father Clint and will soon appear in ‘Snowden,’ alongside Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Shailene Woodley, and 2016’s much-anticipated ‘Suicide Squad.’

It’s hard to say who, out of the talented ensemble in ‘Straight Outta Compton,’ is going to make it big first: Corey Hawkins? O’Shea Jackson Jr.? Our money’s on Mitchell, as his role as the short-lived rapper Eazy-E is the meatiest.

This Korean thespian was only known for Netflix’s ‘Marco Polo’ when she nabbed a key role in ‘Avengers: Age of Ultron.’ Kim held her own against the big-name cast; next she stars in ‘Equals’ with Nicholas Hoult and Kristen Stewart.

Before ‘Kingsman: The Secret Service’ made him famous, this young Welshman (right) just did British TV. No longer: He’ll soon appear with Tom Hardy in ‘Legend,’ then play the lead in ‘Eddie the Eagle,’ about the UK’s least likely ski jumper.

There’s always one Aussie in each year’s crop of breakout stars. Snook’s our pick for 2015. After making her name as the lead in ‘Jessabelle’ and ‘Predestination,’ she’ll next be seen in ‘Steve Jobs’ and ‘The Dressmaker’ with Kate Winslet.
