By now Star Trek fans must be going crazy waiting for their first real look at their beloved sequel Star Trek into Darkness.

About a month ago, J.J. Abrams was a guest on Conan O'Brien's show and revealed literally three frames from the highly anticipated film. Trekkies dissected the three frames in the following days, but there's been nothing since.

Zachary Quinto guested on Conan's show last night in a build-up to what was believed to be the first clip from the film. After all, the first poster arrived online yesterday, so the timing would be right. Instead, this is what happened

Star Trek fans can take solace though as Simon Pegg, who plays Scotty in the film, tweeted this morning that the first trailer will arrive online Thursday. Let's all hope it's a real trailer and not another attempt at a joke. Trekkies can only take so much.
