“I win, you lose!” … is what we’d put on a poster promoting this week’s Box Office predictions. My last second decision to go with Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Rodrick Rules over the heavily-favorited Sucker Punch turned out to be a good call since the family-friendly sequel wound up beating the latest Zack Snyder film by about $5 million. When all was said and done, Diary of a Wimpy Kid 2 took home $24 million to win the weekend, with Sucker Punch in second with $19 million. Limitless ($15.2 million), The Lincoln Lawyer ($11 million) and Rango (9.8 million) rounded out the top five.

Considering the fact that a lot of people were buzzing (both positive and negative) about Sucker Punch over the weekend, we wanted to include it in today’s post-weekend poll to see what Fandango readers really thought of the top two movies at the box office. Did Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Rodrick Rules deserve to beat Sucker Punch, or was the latter simply screwed by a ton of negative reviews?
Sound off in our two polls below and rate both Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Rodrick Rules and Sucker Punch. Let’s see which film really deserved to win the weekend.
