The Channel 4 news team is back together for Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues, and that means we might just have a new funniest Will Ferrell movie of all time. That is, if this sequel can top the laughs of the 2004 original, Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy. If you ask most people, that remains the former Saturday Night Live star's greatest comedy as far as busting our sides with pure comedy gold. Not even Old School can touch it, apparently.

Do you agree? Did Ferrell hit a peak 10 years ago and has not been able to top it with any of the many movies since? Surely there are fans who find Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby to be funnier. And those who love Step Brothers -- which is one of his more poorly reviewed movies -- seem to really, really love it. He has had misses, certainly, but sense of humor is very subjective and the movie you may find to be the least funny (say, Casa de Mi Padre) could be the funniest to someone else.

Seeing as it's the season to enjoy one of Ferrell's movies in particular, it is also worth noting that some prefer the more PG humor of Elf to that of Ferrell's more raunchy PG-13 and R-rated material. And let's not dismiss those movies where Ferrell isn't the lead. He appears in minor roles in very funny movies, including Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery, Wedding Crashers, Zoolander and, the most underrated of all, Dick

But when we polled Twitter users this week for the answer, the first Anchorman won by good margin. Here are the results followed by a few select tweets:

Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgandy - 8
Step Brothers - 3
Zoolander - 2
Blades of Glory - 1
