Earlier this week, we shared a story about Regal Cinema’s plans to build a new theater in Manhattan that will feature electric recliners for seats. Ikea took the idea one step further – filling an auditorium with comfy beds for film fans instead.

Ikea chose a theater in Khimki, Russia to get this makeover. The company had the seats in the auditorium removed and replaced them all with rows of beds facing the screen. They look to be queen-sized in the video, which means anyone who came solo might have to bed down with a stranger... which might be a little awkward.

The bed theater will remain in use until December 14, so if you’re near Russia and you want to lie in bed while watching the hottest new releases, this is your ultimate destination.
