If you have a significant other and the two of you regularly watch movies together, then you’ll undoubtedly recognize most of the behaviors highlighted in this funny new video. It’s sort of oddly refreshing yet terrifying to realize that all couples do these same things.
Buzzfeed shared the clip, titled "Weird Things Couples Do on Movie Night," and it’s eerily accurate in our experience. From the hour or more wasted trying to decide what to watch while scanning through all 50,000 titles on Netflix streaming, to the inevitable “Is that Bill Paxton or Bill Pullman” debate, all the classics are covered.
Our own personal favorite involves the significant other who, while watching the film for the first time right alongside you, continually asks questions as if you have some magical insight into what’s happening even though you’ve never seen the movie before either. Runner-up? The person who doesn’t want to pause the movie when they get up for something, then comes back and wants a full rundown of what they missed. Argh!
