Asteroid City

It’s 1955 in a desert town somewhere in the southwestern United States, and things are about to get very weird. Welcome to Wes Anderson's newest film, Asteroid City.

Kids from around the country have gathered for a convention of young astronomy aficionados, their families in tow. It’s a perfect time and place for extraterrestrials to pay Earth a visit – although to hear the gathered adults tell it in our exclusive clip, the visitors are going to have some stiff competition in the “weird” department.

As usual, Wes Anderson has assembled a huge, eclectic cast, featuring everyone from Jason Schwartzmann and Scarlett Johansson to Liev Schreiber and Hong Chau. And Jeff Goldblum is on hand to play perhaps his weirdest role yet.

Asteroid City is in select theaters today, and opens everywhere June 23. Watch the clip below, and get your tickets right here at Fandango.
