Twihards know by now that Peter Facinelli, who plays Dr. Carlisle Cullen in the Twilight Saga, wants to see a grown man by the name of Rob DeFranco walk down Hollywood Blvd. in a bikini, singing "Single Ladies" by Beyonce. It's part of the bet he made with his best bud, DeFranco (@211me) last week upon joining Twitter.
The Details:
Rob DeFranco bet Peter Facinelli that he couldn't get 500,000 followers by Friday, June 19 -- a week's time. Peter, banking on the strength of Twilighters no doubt, accepted, of course.
If Peter wins:
DeFranco takes a walk of shame down Hollywood Blvd., holding up a sign that says "Twitter me," and Peter will be there to capture his "Single Ladies" crooning friend on video. (We're sure a bunch of other fans will show up to witness the momentous occasion as well.)
If DeFranco wins:
Peter will have to give his chair backing with his name on it from Twilight to DeFranco – which would kinda blow because he says that Rob's not even a fan. So our favorite vampire doctor decided to make things a little more interesting...
Here's where Twilighters come in:
If Peter wins the bet, he'll give away his chair backing to one of his followers. He hasn't stated exactly how yet, but he tells MTV he likes riddles; he might use one to decide. The hours are whittling away and Peter hasn't hit 300,000 followers as of 4:30 PST (but he claims Twitter's counter was broken last night). We'll see if his plans for DeFranco's bikini walk come to fruition soon enough.
