Immortals

The second trailer for the 300-esque mythology action flick Immortals has hit the web with more action scenes and stunning visuals. Director Tarsem Singh, who will be directing the upcoming Lily Collins-Julia Roberts Snow White adaptation The Brothers Grimm: Snow White, has a knack for creating some beautiful cinematic imagery. The question is, will audiences be curious enough to check out this man vs. gods flick in November? Take a look at the new trailer released today via Ryan Seacrest's website and let us know.

The latest entry into the found footage subgenre of horror movies has changed its release date four times, but it seems (at least for now) that the Gonzalo Lopez-Gallego directed flick will hit screens Labor Day weekend. Lopez Gallego has worked as an editor and director on numerous Spanish productions, but Apollo marks his first foray into American cinema. Mega-producer Bob Weinstein generated buzz last year when he denied that the movie was a work of fiction, instead claiming that the footage had been discovered. Audiences will get to have their say when the movie hits screens on September 2.

For those who ventured to check out Cars 2 this past weekend most likely saw a quick minute-long teaser for Pixar’s 2012 movie, Brave. Though the trailer doesn’t give us much, Brave tells the story of a Scottish princess, Merida (voiced by Kelly MacDonald), who defies her parents by pursuing her interest in archery. The impetuous daughter of King Fergus and Queen Elinor (Billy Connolly and Emma Thompson), Merida is determined to carve her own path in life and defies an old sacred custom which leads to chaos within the kingdom. When Merida turns to an eccentric old witch (Julie Walters) for help, the young archer is granted an ill-fated wish and forced to discover the true meaning of bravery in order to undo a terrible curse before it’s too late. Brave is scheduled to conquer screens June 22, 2012.
