The sequel is going straight to BluRay and will arrive on October 30, just days before the Broadyway musical adaptation of the 1983 classic.
The sequel follows Ralphie as a teenager who has clearly upgraded his wish list in the new film as he yearns for a 1938 Hupmobile Skyline convertible. Some things haven't changed though. Triple dog dares and Ralphie's dad, played here by Daniel Stern, are carried over from the first film.
