If you've been disappointed with the somewhat bland, generic fare being served up by the 2010 summer movie season, then start counting down the days till August 13th because that's when Scott Pilgrim vs. the World finally blasts its video game-lovin' ass into theaters. The latest full-length trailer for the film has finally arrived online, and while it looks completely insane in every conceivable way, the darn thing feels like the freshest flick we'll see this year.

'Scott Pilgrim vs. the World'

Michael Cera stars as the film's geeky, slacker hero Scott Pilgrim, who falls head over heels for a girl named Ramona Flowers, but then must battle her seven evil ex boyfriends in order to truly win her heart. It's based on the popular comic series, which has definitely influenced director Edgar Wright since the comic bleeds all over this trailer. It's a nutty looking film – and one that not everyone will "get" right off the bat – but I guarantee its originality and quick, nerdy, stylistic action will win you over five minutes in. Heck, I've only seen two-and-a-half minutes and already I'm so totally in love.
