Dusty is going firefighting in the sequel to Disney's Planes.

Dane Cook returns to voice the crop duster who spent the first film in the franchise in a global race. The sequel Planes: Fire & Rescue finds Dusty learning that his engine is damaged and that he may never race again.

Finding a second chance, Dusty joins the aerial firefighting crew protecting the historic Piston Peak National Park. There he's introduced to a cast of new characters including super-scooper Dipper (Modern Family's Julie Bowen), heavy-lift helicopter Windlifter, ex-military transport Cabbie and a bunch of all-terrain vehicles known as the Smokejumpers.

This trailer certainly seems to have more tongue-in-cheek-type humor than the first film. We'll find out when Planes: Fire & Rescue flies into theaters July 18.

Disney has also released three new images from the film, which you can see below.
