Man, it has been a busy week in Asgard. Advance tickets went on sale for Marvel’s upcoming sequel Thor: The Dark World. We posted the rest of our set visit to the London shoot of director Alan Taylor’s film. And now we have this exclusive meeting of feuding siblings Thor (Chris Hemsworth) and Loki (Tom Hiddleston).

But what is this they speak of? They both want vengeance? Against whom? And did Thor just say he needs Loki’s help to “escape” from Asgard? What has the god of thunder done now to upset his disappointed father, Odin (Anthony Hopkins)?

The tangled Shakespearean web woven by Marvel and its Thor universe seems to be expanding and tightening at the same time.

I love how the dynamic between these warriors has changed so drastically from the first film, how Loki’s actions in New York City in The Avengers so thoroughly broke Thor’s trust for his half-sibling that now he looks disgusted to actually need his brother’s assistance. “You betray me, and I will kill you,” Thor tells Loki, and you better believe we believe it.

We think we know why Thor is so angry. We think we know why Thor is in trouble back in Asgard. And we think we know why he needs Loki to complete his next mission. It all ties back to Malekith the Accursed (Christopher Eccleston), so it's going to be a headache for our mighty Asgardian.

Find out all that’s in store for Thor when The Dark World opens in theaters on November 8. Do you have your tickets yet?
