It’s the holiday season at a New England prep school, and someone has to keep an eye on the kids with nowhere to go. That “someone” turns out to be the gruff instructor Paul Hunham (Giamatti). Over the course of the holiday break, he’ll form unexpected bonds with Angus (Domonic Sessa), a troubled and troublemaking student, and the school’s head cook (a stunning Da’Vine Joy Randolph), who’s carrying burdens of her own.
