Those of you anticipating that recently announced Hancock sequel will be happy to know that all those involved in the first film will indeed return for the sequel, including director Peter Berg, Will Smith and Charlize Theron. Berg revealed the news to MTV in a recent interview, and also teased that they have a big name in mind to take on the role of a third superhero. Unfortunately we'll have to wait a little while longer to find out who that "big name" is. (Ahem, is it wrong of me to vote for Jazzy Jeff?)

From 'District 9' to 'The A-Team'

Hot off his award-worthy performance in this summer's District 9, actor Sharlto Copley is now being rumored to have been offered the role of Howling Mad Murdock in Joe Carnahan's A-Team movie, now in production in Vancouver. There's been no confirmation that Copley has indeed won the role, though BlackFilm says he's one of several names that were being tossed around, including Jim Carrey, Steve Buscemi, Timothy Olyphant, Woody Harrelson, Sam Rockwell, Chris PineandRobert Downey Jr.

Should Copley wind up with the part, he'll join Liam Nesson (as John "Hannibal" Smith), Bradley Cooper as Lt. Templeton "Faceman" Peck and Quinton Ramone Jackson as B.A. Baracus. Definitely an odd cast, though I can't help but anticipate the outcome big time.

Halle Berry Hates Sharks

What's up with Halle Berry? Can I just ask that as a general question? What's up girl? Variety tells us she's in advanced talks to star in an action-thriller called Dark Tide that's coming from Twilight producers Marty Bowen and Wyck Godfrey. The story? Berry would play a diving instructor who returns to the ocean after a near-fatal incident with a Great White shark. So basically it's Cliffhanger, but without the awesome snow-related Sly Stallone fight scenes. Should we expect an hour of Halle Berry trying desperately to get into the water, but then deciding not to? Where's the action? Where are the thrills? If these sharks could talk, they'd tell Halle to look for a more interesting project.

What do you think? Are sharks still scary on film?
