If you’re tired of Hollywood remaking older movies, then wake up because a bunch more are about to head our way. The most notable being a remake of the 1992 romantic drama The Bodyguard, starring Kevin Costner and Whitney Houston. Obviously Warner Bros. will look to cast the same way by bringing on a female pop star and a well-known actor to play the bodyguard she falls in love with. I could easily see Rihanna in the role, perhaps with someone like Gerard Butler. Who would you cast? The Bodyguard

Next up on the remake train is the 1991 film Soapdish, which followed the comedic behind-the-scenes of a soap opera and starred folks like Robert Downey Jr., Kevin Kline, Sally Field and Whoopi Goldberg. Writer-actor Ben Schwartz will write the script, which will have a hard time topping the original’s fantastic ensemble cast.
In more remake news, Chris Columbus has signed to direct a remake of the Korean film Hello Ghost, about a young man who unsuccessfully tries to kill himself and is then haunted by four ghosts who won’t stop bothering him until he helps grant them each one wish. Columbus said, “After watching Hello Ghost I was immediately struck by the film's ability to mix comedy, drama and complex emotional themes."
Out of all three of these remakes, which one sounds the most appealing?
