It probably played on repeat in your college dorm room, and over the years it’s gone on to become one of writer-director Richard Linklater’s most iconic films – not just because of its stellar roster of up-and-coming talent, but also because it tapped into the guts and glory of the teenage spirit like no other.
Dazed and Confused will forever be the quintessential cinematic party that never ends, and if its hazy, red-eyed, hang-out essence could be bottled up inside one image, this Mondo print by artist James Flames would be it.

This Dazed and Confused poster – along with a rad poster for the film’s spiritual sequel, Everybody Wants Some (see below), which opens this week’s SXSW Film Festival – will be on display with others like them at a very special Mondo gallery show dedicated to the work of Richard Linklater.
It's called "No Longer/Not Yet: A Tribute to Richard Linklater," and it runs from March 12-15 at the Mondo Gallery in Austin, Texas. Some of the artists who contributed pieces include Dan Black, James Flames, Jason Munn, Phantom City Creative, Kevin Tong, Jay Shaw, Matt Taylor and more.
Want one of these posters? Of course you do! Everybody wants some! The posters will be on sale at the gallery from March 12-15. (No word on whether a keg party at the moon tower will follow.)
Posters remaining after the Linklater show closes on March 15 will be available online via www.mondotees.com. Stay tuned to the Mondo newsletter and their social media channels for sale info.
Below you can check out the Dazed and Confused variant, as well as the poster for Everybody Wants Some, which hits theaters on April 1.
