Johnny Flynn in One Life

What kind of difference can one person make in the lives of others? By way of an answer, One Life (now playing in theaters – get your tickets here!) introduces us to Sir Nicholas Winton

In 1938, “Nicky” Winton, a young English stockbroker, visits Prague. His original plans go out the window when he encounters refugee camps full of Jewish Germans and Austrians who’ve fled the Nazi regime. With the Nazis closing in on Czechoslovakia, Winton realizes there’s something he can do: Get the kids to England, out of harm’s way.

In our exclusive clip, a young Nicky (Johnny Flynn), temporarily back home, explains to his mother (Helena Bonham Carter) why he’s going back to Prague: He simply has to.

One Life also stars Anthony Hopkins, who plays Nicky as an older man haunted by memories of the people he couldn’t save. Check out the clip, and make your plans to see this inspiring true story in theaters. You can get your tickets right here at Fandango.
