Before you all beat me up, I know – 40-years-old is not old. Jennifer Aniston, at 40, looks fabulous, and she’s a real class act up there on the big screen. But is she a Bond girl? No. Tell me if any one of the following applies to Ms. Jennifer Aniston:
1. Tall
2. Exotic
3. Under 35
4. Looks like she'll either seduce you or stab you in the back…or both.
5. Isn't afraid to bring the passion and the pain
6. Can handle a weapon and still look unbelievably sexy if need be
I'll wait here while you look over that list and try to squeeze Ms. Aniston into one or more of those categories…
In the meantime, let me tell you where all this came from: Apparently the Daily Express (via Ace Showbiz) is
reporting that folks at EON Productions (who produce the James Bond films) are taking interest in Aniston after the actress told Elle Magazine that she'd like to do an action movie, like Bond. A source close to EON said, "Jennifer has all these qualities. It's great to hear she'd love to do a movie because we have used established actresses before such as Teri Hatcher and Denise Richards. It's great she's a fan. After her comments it's likely she'll be called in to meet [producers] Barbara Broccoli and Michael G Wilson when we start on the next one."
So it's important to note that Aniston hasn't even auditioned for the role yet, but even so it's just as important for us fans to make sure they choose the right gal. Is Jennifer Aniston that right gal? Could you see her clinging seductively to James Bond's side in a tight blue evening gown as the secret agent fights off a group of street thugs? I can't.
