Pride and Prejudice and Zombies: Seth Grahame-Smith's 2009 best seller Pride and Prejudice and Zombies will make its way to the big screen next year, and with filming underway, the first official photo has been released. Striking a pose to make Jane Austen proud are Lily James (who describes her character as "a badass warrior"), Ellie Bamber, Millie Brady, Bella Heathcote and Suki Waterhouse. [EW.com]

Steve Jobs Movie: Seth Rogen (above, in Neighbors) is in talks to play Steve Wozniak opposite Christian Bale as Steve Jobs in the untitled big-screen adaptation of Walter Isaacson's biography. Wozniak and Jobs cofounded Apple in 1976; the first third of Aaron Sorkin's script is reportedly set backstage during the introduction of the Macintosh in 1984. Jessica Chastain is also being eyed for an unspecified role in the movie, to be directed by Danny Boyle. [The Wrap]

 

Evil Dead

A Man in the Dark: Sam Raimi will produce the thriller A Man in the Dark, to be directed by Fede Alvarez. The two previously teamed as producer and director, respectively, on 2013's Evil Dead remake (above). The movie revolves around three teenaged burglars who break into the home of a rich blind man, only to find themselves fighting for their lives against a psychopath. [Variety]

 

Ex Machina

Ex Machina Trailer: Veteran screenwriter Alex Garland (28 Days Later, Sunshine) makes his directorial debut with sci-fi thriller Ex Machina, heading to theaters on April 10, 2015. The first trailer establishes an unsettling, chilling air as Oscar Isaac and Domhnall Gleeson test out a humanoid robot (Alicia Vikander) that is incredibly lifelike. [MovieClips]
