Assassin's Creed: Michael Fassbender and Ariane Labed are featured in a new photo from Assassin's Creed. The adaptation of the video game series revolves around Fassbender, who is "kind of a cypher for all the time-traveling, first-person action in the games," though the actor admits he had never played the game before he was approached to star. (Don't worry, fans; he has now.) Justin Kurzel (Macbeth) is directing; the movie is set for release on December 21, 2016. [EW.com]

 

Demetrius Shipp Jr.

All Eyez on Me: Newcomer Demetrius Shipp Jr. will star as legendary rap artist Tupac Shakur in the biopic All Eyez on Me. He will be joined by Jamal Woolard, who will be portraying Biggie Smalls; he previously played Smalls in 2009's Notorious. The Day the Clown Cried

The Day the Clown Cried: Jerry Lewis' The Day the Clown Cried, a drama about the Holocaust, will enter the National Film Registry this week. Lewis directed the movie, in which he starred as a circus clown who performs for children at concentration camps. Lewis decided not to release the movie, made in 1972, and has stipulated that it may not be shown in public for another 10 years. [The Sunday Times]

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice TV Spot: A Japanese TV spot for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is filled with angry action by the titular character and requires no subtitles to understand the conflict between them.
