The Devil Wears Prada: Lauren Weisberg's 2003 bestseller The Devil Wears Prada was turned into a movie in 2006, starring Meryl Streep in an Academy Award-nominated performance as a haughty fashion magazine editor and Anne Hathaway as her cowed assistant. Now a musical stage version is under development by veteran stage producer Kevin McCollum (Rent), who also wants to make a musical version of Mrs. Doubtfire.
