The Ridiculous Six: The next comedy from Adam Sandler, The Ridiculous Six, will now head directly to Netflix. The project was previously set up for theatrical release via Paramount Pictures. ESPN: Those Guys Have All the Fun

ESPN: A movie version of the book ESPN: Those Guys Have All the Fun is moving forward. Focus Features picked up the project in September 2013 with director Derek Cianfrance (The Place Beyond the Pines) attached. Now Jim Miller, who cowrote the book with Tom Shales, has been hired to write the script, and he says that the movie will cover several different periods in the history of the cable sports network.
