Guillermo del Toro and Ryan Gosling

Haunted Mansion: Ryan Gosling is in talks to star in Disney's Haunted Mansion, to be directed by Guillermo del Toro. The project has been in development for nearly five years; D.V. DeVincentis (High Fidelity) is currently working on a new draft of the screenplay for what's described as a "supernatural family film." [The Wrap]

Phil Lord and Christopher Miller

The Flash: Phil Lord and Christopher Miller, who teamed to write and direct The Lego Movie, among others, will next "flesh out the story" for The Flash. Ezra Miller is set to star as the speedy DC superhero. Earlier this week, we heard that Lord and Miller were under consideration to direct either this project or a new installment in the Ghostbusters series, but we're still awaiting word on that decision. The Incredibles

The Incredibles 2: Brad Bird says that he is "just starting to write" a sequel to 2004's animated smash The Incredibles. Evidently it's been "percolating" for a very long time; back in October 2011, he said he hadn't come up with the right story yet, and then in March 2014 it was reported that he was "actively working" on it. Considering Bird's outstanding track record, we suspect the result will be worth the wait. [SlashFilm]

Jurassic World

Jurassic World Clip: A new Jurassic World photo suggests that a gift shop may not be the safest place to hide from rampaging dinosaurs. Meanwhile, the first clip features Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard in a quiet moment together, as one tries to convince the other to get with the program. The movie opens in theaters on June 12.
