Fifty Shades of Grey: Both Fifty Shades of Grey sequels will be adapted for the big screen, according to director Sam Taylor-Johnson. After the first book in the trilogy by E.L. James was published to great success, Fifty Shades Darker and Fifty Shades Freed were also big sellers, and now advance ticket sales for the first movie adaptation, due in theaters on February 13, have apparently ensured that the sequels will be transformed as well. Bleed for This: Rising star Miles Teller (Whiplash, The Fantastic Four) appears somewhat worse for the wear in the first look at boxing drama Bleed for This. Teller plays Vinny Pazienza in the true-life tale, which follows what happened after an accident temporarily derailed the young boxer's championship plans in the early 1990s. Boyhood: Richard Linklater's Boyhood won the prize for Best Film at the British Academy of Film and Television Awards (BAFTAs) on Sunday. Linklater and Patricia Arquette were recognized as Best Director and Best Supporting Actress, respectively, while The Theory of Everything took home awards for Outstanding British Film, Adapted Screenplay and Leading Actor (Eddie Redmayne). Julianne Moore was named Best Lead Actress for her performance in Still Alice, J.K. Simmons won Best Supporting Actor for Whiplash and The Lego Movie was awarded Best Animated Film. [BAFTA]
Cut Bank Trailer: Liam Hemsworth and Teresa Palmer star in the first trailer from the thriller Cut Bank that also features performances from John Malkovich and Billy Bob Thornton. The film chronicles what happens when a small town in Montana is rocked by a murder, revealing a tapestry of secrets that threatens to tear the town apart.
