The Purge

The Purge 3: When it opened in June 2013, The Purge (above) became a surprise hit, showing that fans of dark, horror-edged thrillers would support such fare during the heat of summer movie season. Last year, The Purge: Anarchy followed it into theaters, arriving a month later in July. The next installment in the series, provisionally titled The Purge 3, will also come out in the summer -- but not until July 1, 2016.
