Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice: A new image of Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice shows the corporate villain looking quite cool in a pair of sunglasses. We've seen the character in a variety of outfits over the past few months, which suggests that he's more of a clotheshorse than in past versions. Alien: Covenant: Katherine Waterston, who gave a notable performance in Paul Thomas Anderson's Inherent Vice (above), will star in Alien: Covenant. Ridley Scott will direct the next installment in the Alien series, which takes place after the events in 2012's Prometheus; Michael Fassbender is reprising his role as a mysterious "synthetic." Bride of Frankenstein: David Koepp, whose credits include Jurassic Park, Mission: Impossible and Spider-Man, has been tapped to write the screenplay for the new version of Bride of Frankenstein. It's set in the modern day and will be part of Universal's shared monster universe. Angelina Jolie is still being touted to star in and direct the movie, but she will wait to make a decision until the script is ready. [Variety]
