Wolverine: Hugh Jackman has hinted before that he's ready to say goodbye to playing the X-Men character Wolverine, and now he's given his clearest signal yet.
In a social media post over the weekend, he featured a photo with the caption, 'WOLVERINE...ONE LAST TIME. HJ," apparently referring to the third stand-alone Wolverine movie, set for release on March 3, 2017 [Instagram]. No word yet if he will cameo as Logan in Bryan Singer's X-Men: Apocalypse.
Transformers: More Transformers movies are on their way.
Akiva Goldsman, a veteran writer and producer (I Am Legend, Insurgent), is in talks to organize a so-called "writer's room" that would come up with ideas for a multi-part sequel series, as well as possible spinoff films for the franchise -- similar to what James Cameron did for the upcoming Avatar
sequels. Goldsman would be working with director Michael Bay, and producers Steven Spielberg and Lorenzo di Bonaventura. [Deadline]
