Jurassic World 2: Justice Smith, who starred in the Netflix series The Get Down, has joined the cast of Jurassic World 2. Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard are already set to return in the sequel, which will begin production next spring under the direction of J.A. Bayona (A Monster Calls). 21 Jump Street: Back in April 2015, we heard that Broad City writers Lucia Aniello and Paul Downs were reportedly working on a spin-off from 21 Jump Street that would be led by female cops. Now comes word that 22 Jump Street cowriter Rodney Rothman (above) has been hired to write a new draft of the screenplay and possibly direct. [Deadline]
Pacific Rim: Maelstrom: Director Steven S. DeKnight shared a mysterious photo from the set of Pacific Rim: Maelstrom. We anticipate that the sequel will feature battles between giant robots and giant monsters, as in the original, but we have no idea what might be hidden behind the door. Eloise Trailer: In the first trailer for Eloise, Chace Crawford (TV's Gossip Girl) and his friends break into an abandoned asylum to find proof of a relative's death, which will make him eligible to receive a large inheritance.
