Hellraiser 10: A surprise 10th installment in the Hellraiser horror-film series is now in production. Doug Bradley, who appeared in the first eight installments as the fearsome Pinhead (above), says he declined to even read the script because it would require that he sign a legal document preventing him from talking about it. Catherine the Great: Keira Knightley is in early talks to star as Catherine the Great in an untitled biographical drama that will be directed by Barbra Streisand. Kristina Lauren Anderson wrote the screenplay based on the life of the Russian leader, who ruled from 1762 until she died in 1796. Astro Boy: The iconic Japanese character Astro Boy is returning to the big screen. New Line is in negotiations to acquire rights to the character and the writing team of Andre Fabrizio and Jeremy Passmore (San Andreas) has been hired to write a screenplay. In Japan, the character starred in comic books, newspaper cartoon strips and anime series. In 2009, he was featured in an animated-movie version (above). [THR]
Triple 9 Trailer: As explained in a new trailer for Triple 9, a gang of criminals decide to kill a police officer to distract authorities so they can more easily pull off a big heist.
