Kind of a quiet week for DVD releases, with only a couple of sci-fi actioners and a horror flick (or was that a horror comedy?) new on the shelves today.

Knowing Nicolas Cage stars in this intriguing yet ultimately disappointing action thriller as a professor who discovers a numerical pattern that predicts every major human disaster past and future, and gets caught in a race against time to stop the next worldwide catastrophe. Picture M. Night Shyamalan directing National Treasure, and that's about what you get.

Push Convoluted, lightning-paced and photogenic, Push may leave you completely confused as to what's going on--a secret government agency is transforming people into psychic soldiers and punishes anyone not willing to go along with the program--but it's fun to watch and completely forgettable.

The Unborn This movie will leave you howling--not in fear, but in hilarity. Odette Yustman (Cloverfield) stars as a young woman possessed by a creepy little boy's apparition. Turns out he's her unborn twin bound for revenge, via a Jewish demon spawned from the Holocaust. Or something. Line that will really have you falling out of your seat? To the young woman: "You must finish what was started in Auschwitz!"
