Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs 3D This animated blockbuster marks Sony’s first-ever 3D Blu-ray title in the U.S. Bill Hader voices a scientist whose big invention goes haywire and causes giant food to rain from the skies. Green Zone Yes, it got slammed pretty hard when it came out for being a lesser version of the Bourne movies complete with Paul Greengrass’s really irritating and wholly unnecessary shaky-cam, but give it a chance at home and you might have a darn good time. Matt Damon plays a soldier caught in Iraq War subterfuge on the hunt for WMDs that—surprise!—were never there in the first place. Death Race 2000 One of the greatest B-movies ever made stars Sylvester Stallone and David Carradine as two star drivers in a gory, yearly coast-to-coast race where points are scored by number of innocent pedestrians hit. Directed by Roger Corman protégé Paul Bartel in 1975, it’s not only gratuitously violent (watch Sly drive over someone’s head like it was a cantaloupe); it can also be bitingly funny. The Jason Statham remake didn’t do it justice.
