We still have a ways to go before May 15 arrives and we can all race to our nearest theater to devour Mad Max: Fury Road, but until then we have the film's wickedly gorgeous trailer to watch a gazillion times, as well as some of the most awe-striking imagery we've seen from any recent postapocalyptic movie.

You've got a one-armed Charlize Theron (named Imperator Furiosa) alongside our new Max, played by Tom Hardy, and then a whole lotta crazy characters with even crazier names -- like Nux (Nicholas Hoult), Toast (Zoe Kravitz), Rictus Erectus (Nathan Jones), Valkyrie (Megan Gale), Capable (Riley Keough) and more.
From what we've gathered, the fourth installment in George Miller's franchise feels very reminiscent of The Road Warrior in that it tracks Max as he's just trying to survive a nasty desert landscape full of deranged lunatics who desperately want him dead.
