Miley Cyrus has made if official: She wants to become a big-time actress. Sure, films like the Hannah Montana Movie and The Last Song were cute and all, but Cyrus is beginning to prove she's serious about this whole big-screen acting thing by lining up a few more high-profile roles that take her out of high school and into some more adult territory.  Miley Cyrus

First she's starring in next year's controversial film LOL, which is said to be a racy indie film about teenagers exploring … well, being teenagers. But this isn't your wholesome Hannah Montana version of teenage life, and instead the film is said to tackle some pretty hot topics like drug use and teen sex. If Cyrus hasn't convinced you that she's all grown up and ready to get down and dirty yet, then wait till you get a load of her in this flick.
The latest news finds Cyrus attached to a new film called So Undercover, which applies the whole 21 Jump Street scenario to college, and will feature Cyrus as a private investigator hired by the FBI to go undercover in a college sorority. We're not sure what, exactly, she's looking for, though producer Nigel Sinclair says that "there will be a touch of real danger too when she goes undercover. We have a sharp, funny, accessible and commercial script from Allan and Steven that is a perfect match for her comic talents."
Do you think Cyrus has the chops to become the next big thing in Hollywood, or is the So Undercover star so overrated?
