When I saw the trailer for Ratchet and Clank, I knew I had to make some of those over-sized ears for my little guy to wear. He loves playing with them already and we haven’t even seen the movie yet. They are really simple to make, and in fact, your kids can do almost all of the work. And that’s a win, win.

What You’ll Need:

Headband

White card stock

Tape

Marker

Scissors

Crayons

Step 1: Draw and cut out the ears. You can create a template if you’re worried about them coming out the same. Or,  you can just let the kids do it.

Step 2: Color them with crayons to look just like Ratchet’s ears. A yellow-brown and a medium brown seemed to be the closest in our box of crayons.

Step 3: Wrap the bottom part of the ears around the headband and tape them in place. You’ll want to be mindful to place them where you’d like them before you apply the tape.

And that’s it. So easy and a super cute costume to wear to the movie!
