Tickets are now on sale for Killers of the Flower Moon. Martin Scorsese’s historical epic opens in theaters on Friday, October 20.
Killers of the Flower Moon dramatizes the true events of the serial murders of Osage people in 1920s Oklahoma after oil was discovered on their land. As this is happening, young Ernest Burkhart’s (Leonardo DiCaprio), wealthy uncle Bill Hale (Robert De Niro) presses him to marry Mollie (Lily Gladstone), an Osage woman, in a play to inherit her family’s oil profits.
In our exclusive featurette below, the director and stars of Killers of the Flower Moon give us an inside look at the film. They give us a brief historical overview, and Scorsese explains why he wanted to make this movie. “I was drawn to the idea to tell this terribly tragic story that was never brought to national attention,” says Scorsese. “I wanted to do justice to the Osage so that the audience feels the immensity of the tragedy.”
Killers of the Flower Moon will premiere in theaters around the world, including IMAX® theatres, on Friday, October 20, 2023. You can get your tickets right here at Fandango.
