Robert Rodriguez has begun filming his next movie, Sin City 2 aka Sin City: A Dame to Kill For and two actors have joined the cast. Rodriguez recently wrapped on his other sequel, Machete Kills.

THR reports that Jaime King and Jamie Chung have joined the cast. The pair join Jessica Alba, Rosario Dawson and Mickey Rourke as confirmed cast members. Rourke's character Marv was killed in the original film but this film precedes events in the first film.

King played the golden-haired prostitute Goldie in the first film and is returning to play her twin sister Wendy. Meanwhile, Chung is set to potray the roller-skating assassin Miho, played by Devon Aoki in the first film. The character plays a key role in helping Dwight locate Ava.

The site also states that Angelina Jolie, who was expected to play the major role of Ava, is not likely to appear. The role is currently being cast along with the role of Dwight, originally played by Clive Owen in the first film. Owen was originally thought to return for Sin City 2, but his character gets some facial reconstruction in this film so it is likely the character will be re-cast.

Rodriguez is co-directing with Frank Miller once again and just as the first Sin City had multiple storylines running through it, so will the sequel. The big difference comes in the form of one story written specifically for the film, which is slated for an October 4, 2013 release.

Who do you think should play the two lead roles of Ava and Dwight? Any thoughts on Chung taking over for Aoki or King returning to the franchise?
