If you follow this blog at all you would know by now we're huge fans of the art shows at the Hero Complex Gallery in Los Angeles. It held one based on Jaws a few months ago to help raise money for conservation efforts, and more recently featured some amazing artwork based on the movies of sci-fi directors like Ridley Scott and Stanley Kubrick.

Its latest exhibition, "Adventure Show," is comprised of artwork by Meghan Stratman and Nicole Gustafsson that journeys through adventure-themed lands in literature and pop culture--think Jurassic Park, the Star Trek universe and The Princess Bride's mystical country of Florin. Check out a few of the pieces that will be shown and up for sale below.

"Adventure Show" opens this Friday with a reception from 7-10 p.m. and runs through February 23, with hours Wednesday-Sunday 11 a.m.-6 p.m. The Hero Complex Gallery is at 202 S. Robertson Blvd., Studio D, Los Angeles, CA 90064. Give it a look-see if you're in the area, you won't be disappointed.

To keep up to date with all things Hero Complex, head on over to the gallery's website (while you're at it, "like" them on Facebook and follow on Twitter.)
