The concluding installment of an animated trilogy, How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World teases previously-untold delights. The new film finds our hero, Hiccup, happy and content with the knowledge that his land is a peaceful place where humans and dragons can live together in harmony.

Elsewhere, however, dragons and humans remain at war, which begins to create headaches for Hiccup and his friends. Read onward to learn all we know about the family-friendly adventure.

Who stars?

Jay Baruchel once again voices Hiccup, joined by Cate Blanchett as Valka (Hiccup's mother), Craig Ferguson as Gobber the Belch, America Ferrara as Astrid (Hiccup's girlfriend), Jonah Hill, Kit Harington, Kristen Wiig, Christopher Mintz-Plasse and F. Murray Abraham as Grimmel the Grisly, an evil dragon hunter.

What's the story?

Having finally achieved his dream of uniting humans and dragons in his own peaceful land of Berk, Hiccup feels satisfied and content. All seems well, but then the evil hunter Grimmel the Grisly threatens to wipe out all dragons. Hiccup resolves to find a (possibly mythical) lost world, where dragons can live in peace forever.

Who wrote the screenplay and directed?

Dean DeBlois. He is a veteran in the animation field; his past credits include Lilo & Stitch and the first two How to Train Your Dragon films.

When can we see it?

The film will open in theaters nationwide on February 22, 2019.
