There's nothing quite like a good survival story to leave you on the edge of your seat wondering whether the characters will make it out alive. Everest is gonna be one of those movies and then some -- as it tracks the real-life story of a group of Mount Everest climbers who found themselves facing all kinds of adversaries when a severe snowstorm bears down on them.

Due out September 18, Everest is the first great ensemble movie of the fall movie season -- and probably one of the best ensemble films of the year, period. You've got Jake Gyllenhaal, Josh Brolin, John Hawkes, Keira Knightley, Sam Worthington, Jason Clarke, Robin Wright and more.
So not only does the film look incredibly thrilling and atmospheric, but it's also going to deliver one great performance after the next as you sit drenched in awe watching the drama unfold with one eye closed hoping your favorite characters make it off the mountain alive.
