That familiar tinkle of the piano keys. The camera panning over a trademark, round head. Snoopy’s giggle. All of these elements immediately transport us back to our childhoods, when we eagerly anticipated the next Peanuts movie.

They’re also all part of the first teaser trailer for 20th Century Fox Animation’s new Peanuts adventure. The clip hit the Internet today, and we’re happy to share it with you below!

And really, what more do you need? I love that this new trailer basically relies on one catchphrase – “Good grief!” – and we’re already sold. Charlie Brown and the Peanuts gang are back in action? Where do we get tickets?

But wait… there’s more. It was announced earlier that Paul Feig, the director of Bridesmaids and The Heat, will be the creative shepherd behind this Peanuts story. The directorial reigns have been handed over to Steve Martino, who is responsible for Horton Hears a Who! (with Jim Carrey) and Ice Age: Continental Drift. But the franchise appears to be in good hands as it heads toward a release date late next year.

In addition to the teaser, Peanuts shared two official stills from the movie, which breathe bright and sunny life into the rejuvenated cartoon characters.

Peanuts, obviously, is derived from the long-running, beloved comic strip created by the late Charles M. Schulz. As audiences strap in for a nostalgic comedy in Muppets Most Wanted, it makes sense that Hollywood would finally get its ducks in a row for a contemporary Peanuts movie.

When can you see it? Save the date of November 6, 2015.
